The Torch Tribe is a group of Houndour that have occupied the valley for a very long time. There are other several other Fire Types in the tribe, including the species Vulpix and Growlithe. Houndour are more common but the other two species are not rare to see in the tribe.
These guys may or may not be played.
Ranks are more complex for these guys. Every member has some type of role.
1. Leader (chosen by the tribe once their previous one steps down. Is always the strongest in the tribe and possesses many abilities in order to lead the tribe. They make all of the immediate decisions and must always be spoken to for such.)
2. Co-leader (when the leader is too busy, the co-leader is helping)
3. Healers (as it says, they are purely those focused on healing other Pokemon. There is usually one main healer, their apprentice, and their helpers.)
4. Fighters (these are the strongest ones in the tribe. They are purely meant to defend the tribe. The very best of these are sent to protect Valley Square and Heart Village.)
5. Navigators (these Pokemon are experts on the entire valley... That is, the area. When leaving the tribe's camp in very large groups, or far from home, the navigator with often go with them. Navigators also make maps, and will often leave the camp to check on how things might have changed. There is usually one head navigator.)
6. Hunters (despite the name, they do not hunt for prey. They actually are trackers and work hand in hand with the Navigators. These Pokemon are led by a leader.)
7. Researchers (they are experts in all sorts of different knowledge and facts. They are also gone to for advice in certain matters. There is a lead Researcher. They are always learning and run the tribe's library, tmuch of which is forbidden to other members.)
8. Historians (These make a record of the happenings in the valley and in the tribe. Again, there is usually a head historian. Such records are hidden and only certain authorities in the tribe have access to them, along with certain historians.)
9. Explorers (these guys go into dungeons and are trained specifically for that. There are sometimes more than one team. There is a leader for each team. They also gather food and supplies.)
10. Messengers (these are Pokemon that do tasks throughout the valley. Yes, delivering messages, but also doing errands... They are fast, stealthy, and elite. They have intelligence. They are hard workers. They are led by the Co-leader.)
11. Mothers (these are simply mother Pokemon caring for eggs until they hatch. Treated with respect.)
12. Students (these are Pokemon between the ages of 5 and 15. They are only learning very basic knowledge, once they are old enough they are chosen for the field they are best fit for.)
13. Children (between the ages of 2 and 5. These Pokemon are no longer cared for by Elders but must stay within the camp at all times.)
14. Hatchlings (babies have this rank until they turn 2. They are cared for by Elders.)
15. Eggs (as it says. Eggs obviously do nothing but are cared for by mothers.)
16. Elders (retired members too weak to do their old roles. They often take care of baby Pokemon, but when they aren't able to, they will offer stories and legends to anyone who will hear them until their time to meet Luna has come)
(Will add customs and rules later)
