Turn-based RP?

Instead of the somewhat-unorganized structure we have now, perhaps we can make it turn-based? I'm part of another RP site called Epidemic Johto and that's how it's set up there.
To add onto this to prevent members getting inactive...

• If they don't post in three days, they get a warning
  
• On the fourth day, they have an hour after warnings are issued before their character will be attacked by rogues or something and will be put in inactive
  
• Letting this happen twice to one of your characters will cause them to die from their injuries caused by aforementioned rogues or whatever attacks them
  
• Letting this happen twice to any of your characters ONLY in a two month time frame will cause a temporary RP ban

We can have a warning admin responsible for issuing warnings.

If they are unable to post,

• They can skip their turn
  
• They can go into a safe-house for an amount of time if they are unable to access the internet or something
  
• They can put their character in inactive
  

We can have a Safe-house admin in charge of protecting the profiles belonging to those who can't post from rogues.

This makes the RP much more organized so it's not as crazy as chatbox RPs, I've been there and done that, and it's not pretty.

Interesting idea. The one thing that makes me hesitate is, in my experience, when there's turns some members feel pressured to post... Then again, if we start off with this, that would be great. Using turns will help organize the roleplay, I'll give it a try.

And the idea you gave on punishment (both in your other topic and this one) is excellent, I'll think on it and get back to you. Thanks so much for your help! Oh, do you mind if I add it to the rules?

That's why there's a safe-house, so you can be relieved. You can't stay in there forever, though, that's something I should add, after two weeks or so they should go into inactive.
It's fine if you add them to the rules, I don't mind.

Psst. I meant day 4 is the day targets' warnings go out for attacks that day, not day 7.

I know... I kinda improvised to fit my needs better. I feel that 3 days is too short, previously I had chosen a week but I can change it if it bothers you.

Personally, I think a week is much too long. Shave off a few days, though, and you should be golden- Others that are RPing with them won't have to wait weeks and those who need to post can have time.
