OPEN 10/3/Y1 A New Start (MAIN GUILD CHAMBER)

((The Job Bulletins, as well as access to the sleeping rooms and the Mess Hall, are located on this level))

Felicity slowly walked out of her sleeping chamber. Waiting for her was the rest of the guild staff. Phillip smiled, glad to see his partner awake and ready for the day ahead. Felicity, despite her serious nature, smiled back. The flaming horse glanced at the young Pokemon by her side. A Piplup? Huh. New apprentice... Well, maybe a team would be started soon. They had one other apprentice. She cleared her throat. "Welcome, loyal and dedicated Guild Members. I thank you all for your support in our cause. Today, very little will be different. Volunteers Billy the Chimchar and Jojo the Growlithe will stand sentry, keeping watch over our tree and the moat. Be cautious, although time is no longer frozen, danger still lurks in this valley. Mimi, I need you to go to Valley Square and stock up on our supplies, please. Also, if you would get any news, talk with the local Pokemon, that would be useful."

The spiral-tailed cat nodded. "Will do, Guildmaster Felicity."

Felicity dipped her head in gratitude before turning to Phillip. "Looks like we have a visitor. Come forward, Piplup."


The Piplup stared up through his one purple eye. He looked shocked. He was very nervous and had been lost in thought. He was unsure what was going on. "Huh?" He ignored the giggles he got from the crowd, but trembled a little bit as the pretty Rapidash spoke again.

"Please, Piplup. Come forward."

The Piplup jumped a bit as the Flygon, smiling, nodded. "It's ok, little one. We won't hurt you."

He nodded and stepped forward, staring at the crowd. A Growlithe, a Glameow, a Chimchar, an Eevee, another Piplup... Hmm... He thought. That's not very many but... What if they hate me? Or think I'm weak for my missing eye?


He looked up again as the Rapidash spoke again. "What's your name, young Piplup?" She asked.

"A-Alex... My name is Alex..." He responded quickly.

"Welcome Alex, to our Guild." Felicity said. "This Piplup wants to join us. It's been awhile since we had an apprentice join." She turned to him again. "Would you like to learn how to be an explorer, or be a healer's apprentice."

Alex's eyes suddenly lit up, glimmering in excitement. "I really want to explore, if that's ok!"

Felicity smiled, and laughed a little. "Very well then. I give this Pokemon my approval. He is now one of us. He will do simple tasks for the Guild until he forms a team with another Pokemon. You are all dismissed."

Alex watched as all the volunteers left. The Glameow first, followed by the Growlithe and Chimchar, who talked amongst themselves... Phillip and Felicity stayed to talk to eachother. Alex glanced around... Who was the other apprentice?

The Eevee had watched the whole scene in silence. Being somewhat new herself, she feels she could relate to Alex in a sense. She looked like an ordinary Eevee, but she had a big scar on her side. Once the others had left, only she was around. She decided to approach Alex, making herself look nonthreatening so she wouldn't scare him. Her brown orbs observed him briefly, and for a second, she looked at his missing eye. That would render him slightly, no doubt. However, she focused back on him. She did a bow to show respect.

"Hello, welcome to the guild. I'm a bit new myself... I'm Chelsea."

His purple eyes gazed over as the Eevee as she padded over to him. He saw her glancing at his missing eye, or thought he did, but ignored it... Everyone did. He was quite used to it. It didn't mean she doubted him... Right? "Oh! So you must be the other apprentice!" He said happily, his nervousness gone now that it was just the two of them. He wore a smile on his face. He was a very joyful young Piplup. Young, but spirited. He had potential. "So, do you have a team? I really want a team... I've heard about Explorers, the ones who lived before time was frozen, you know? I really want to be one! I'm excited!"

"No, I'm afraid I do my missions solo." Chelsea responded. "I've been hoping to join a team soon enough, but so far, nothing. But its not too bad, I've been handling the easier jobs until I feel more confident to tackle the harder ones. But I'm hoping by then, I'll be in a team. One can only do so much alone, ya know?"

Alex paused. This... This Eevee has no team? Well... Hmm... The Piplup is quiet for a moment, unsure of how to approach the situation. At some point, he simply blurts out, "Will you form a Team with me, Chelsea?"

Chelsea blinked in surprise. "Y... you'd want to form a team with me?!" She broke into a big smile. "I'd be honored!"

Alex's eye lights up. "What?! Really?! Y-you will! Thanks so much! This will be so... much... fun! Oh, yes, oh yes, oh yes!" The young Piplup is wearing a huge smile for such a small Pokemon. He's obviously ecstatic. "Come on, Chelsea was it? Let's go form our Team!" He pauses... "But where... Where do we go?"

ooc: Assuming that Chelsea would know... They would go to the Guildmaster's Chambers, and let Felicity know there... You can post there first if you wish. :]

Chelsea couldn't help but giggle at Alex. Such an excitable little guy, wasn't he? She swished her big bushy tail until he asked the last question. "We go to the Guildmaster's Chamber, and let Felicity know we want to form a team." She began to lead him toward there. "Let's go!"
